We set them free. The kids were ready to let them go, and the butterflies were ready to explore the world. The first two immediately flew right up and out. The last three were more hesitant and stuck around for awhile. It was funny, because each butterfly flew out of the yard in a different direction. The kids enjoyed seeing them up close and watching them go.
