it's a Christmas hayride

12.10.09 Johnson Ranch Annual Neighborhood Hayride. Another fun tradition we enjoy. Our neighborhood provides a horse-drawn hayride around the neighborhood to look at the decorated homes, sing carols, and have hot chocolate and cookies. It is so much fun! (Even though the horses make me sneeze and my eyes water the whole time.)

This year was entertaining because we ended up with a caravan of decked-out golf carts behind us. They just randomly showed up and began following behind. It think there were 6 or 7 of them. They were decorated with Christmas lights, reindeer flying in the front, Christmas music playing, and even Santa Claus himself in the driver's seat. I love golf carts, and have secretly imagined myself cruising around the neighborhood in my very own :) It seems like a nice Arizona thing to do.

That's no Christmas hayride, where's the snow? I refuse to believe it is possible to celebrate Christmas in 70 degree weather :) Joel
